NAME
lvmchk - check if disk volume is under HP Logical Volume Manager (LVM) control
SYNOPSIS
device_path
DESCRIPTION
The command returns information about the disk volume specified by the device_path parameter. Options recognizes the following option: device_path The device path name of a disk volume. device_path can be a block disk, raw disk, or a logical volume.
RETURN VALUE
returns the following values The volume specified by device_path is under the control of LVM. The volume specified by device_path is not under the control of LVM. There was an internal I/O error on the volume specified by device_path, or a command line syntax or usage error was encountered.
EXAMPLES
Examine whether volumes and belong to LVM or not.
