usbredirserver - manual page for usbredirserver 0.4.3
SYNOPSIS
usbredirserver [-p|--port <port>] [-v|--verbose <0-5>] <usbbus-usbaddr|vendorid:prodid>
DESCRIPTION
usbredirserver is a small standalone server for exporting an USB device for use from another (virtual) machine through the usbredir proto-
col.
You can specify the USB device to export either by USB id in the form of <vendorid>:<prodid>, or by USB bus number and device address in
the form of <usbbus>-<usbaddr>.
Notice that an instance of usbredirserver can only be used to export a single USB device. If you want to export multiple devices you can
start multiple instances listening on different TCP ports.
OPTIONS -p, --port=PORT
Set the TCP port to listen on to PORT
-v, --verbose=VERBOSE
Set usbredirserver's verbosity level to VERBOSE, this mostly affects USB redirection related messages. Valid values are 0-5:
0:Silent 1:Errors 2:Warnings 3:Info 4:Debug 5:Debug++

usbipd - USB/IP server daemon
SYNOPSIS
usbipd [options]
DESCRIPTION
usbipd provides USB/IP clients access to exported USB devices.
Devices have to explicitly be exported using usbip bind before usbipd makes them available to other hosts.
The daemon accepts connections from USB/IP clients on TCP port 3240. The clients authorised to connect may be configured as documented in
hosts_access(5).
OPTIONS -D, --daemon
Run as a daemon process.
-d, --debug
Print debugging information.
-v, --version
Show version.
LIMITATIONS
usbipd offers no authentication or authorization for USB/IP. Any USB/IP client running on an authorised host can connect and use exported
devices.
EXAMPLES
server:# modprobe usbip
server:# usbipd -D
- Start usbip daemon.
server:# usbip list
- List driver assignments for usb devices.
server:# usbip bind -b 1-2
- Bind usbip-host.ko to the device of busid 1-2.
- A usb device 1-2 is now exportable to other hosts!
- Use 'usbip unbind -b 1-2' when you want to shutdown exporting and use the device locally.

I need to specify a port on my server (Linux Red Hat 7.2) so that when I access it throgh the browser it forwards me to a certain webpage or folder on the server.
For example, when I write http://domain.com: on the client side, it takes me to an administrator webpage on the server.... (5 Replies)

We have an IBM Power 710. It has a USB port on the front. I have done some searching and see that there is information out there on how to create a JFS2 file system on USB drives. A few have commented that they would not recommend it, if the server is important, may crash the server... Just... (0 Replies)
