Can any body tell me.
SmilieI want to install linux (SLES-9-SP4-CD-x86_64-GM-CD1) but it doesnot work. It said the computer is 32 bits you cannot use 64 bits on it.

Hi,
You need an Itanium (64-bits) based computer to run that, what is your processor? If You can afford to get the 32-bits version (something like SLES-9*-x86_32-*), i think its your safest bet.

Respectfully, you are wrong on this one. Itanium is IA64 architecture. The parent post clearly stated that the architecture on the media was x86_64 which corresponds to AMD64 or EM64T architecture/instruction sets.

That being said, Sack, you need to download the version of the media for plain x86 or sometimes known as i386 or i586 or i686. The CPU/Processor in your machine is a 32 bit one and the architecture of the install that you chose is 64 bit. You chose an incompatible version.

Go to: Software.openSUSE.org

Choose 32-bit as type of your computer.

Hello All, I wish to mail after completion of code. I would like to include subject and body in it. I am not looking to read the body from other file but willing to provide the body in the command itself. Can i do this way? I am looking to pass some parameters to body and this will be possible...
