How to find MAC of local google server

I know that ARP is used to find MAC of the destination machine. But I just failed to justify this. I tried below things:

on one shell terminal I executed "arp" command in a loop so that I can find the MAC of concern machine in the output. On the another shell I fired an "ping"
The ping successfully showed the google server is reachable in so so mili sec but ARP table doesn't showed me MAC of google server.

1st is do my machine should know MAC of google server to send any IP packets? If yes then why can't I observed the google server's MAC address in ARP table?

Awaiting for your valuable inputs ...

Because of the scope of the different addresses. The MAC address is a link-local address, meaning it's not routable. As soon as an IP packet would leave the local subnet it has to go through a router (usually the default gateway), which then sends it out with its own MAC address. Same on the way back.

You can't this is one of basic fundamentals of TCP/IP networks usually there are alot of hops and routers between your ISP and google.
If you are lucky best you can have is to capture the MAC address of the nearest hop to you cached in ARP cache table .

MAC is only used for the local subnet. If it can't talk directly to the destination network card, if there's any hops inbetween, MAC isn't used.
