NFS mount smartcard reader

I have a satellite receiver with Linux OS and networking capabilities, unfortunately without usb connection.
I would like to insert my usb smartcard reader into a PC on the same lan and connect it to the receiver. Up to now I have established nfs connection, exporting /dev directory and successfully mounted it into /dev/smart/ in the reciever, however /dev/smart/ttyUSB0 is not recognized as a smartcard.

/etc/exports:
/dev 192.168.1.7(rw,async,no_root_squash,fsid=5)

mount command:
mount -t nfs -O rw,soft 192.168.1.10:/dev /dev/smart

Any ideas?
