For new LUN's presented to the host, loose the -k part in ioscan

Code:
-k Scan kernel I/O system data structures instead
of the actual hardware and list the results.
No binding or unbinding of drivers is
                             performed. The -d, -C, -I, and -H options can
be used to restrict listings. Cannot be used
                             with -u

Please check man iostat.

After that you should be able to see new LUN's and use them,
also, -k switch will now show them without rescanning of hardware.

I already try ioscan with -k but when i type "mount" I don't see my share

I have to pool all partitions in one HSV400 and after i think mounting le /dev/XXX for example.

without -k, ioscan will scan to detect from new presented LUN.
Is disk is not seen and dsf not not created run
Code:
insf -e

After then you can use pvcreate etc.
Further configuration depends if you are using LVM, which, etc.

HPUX v3 it is no longer using dsf's as in v2.
Is this system upgraded from v2 ?

Well, why using options? Can you please do a plain ioscan?

#ioscan
#insf -eC disk

Check if the luns are showing up. If yes, put them in LVM and start playing. If no, it means that there is some issue and the HPUX is not seeing it. Perhaps, you need to check your HBA (#fcmsutil), Zoning on Switch, and a EVA.

Just you are saying 11.31, can you also do a # ioscan -m dsf ?

That should show you the mapping as to which goes where!
