Debian

Hello everybody,

I've been using Debian stable (currently Lenny) for more than one year, this is my first Linux. Never experienced any problems like this: when I logged in this morning, I got a message that said my kernel had had a failure and prompted me to send a report to www.kerneloops.org. (I sent it.)
Should I be worried about the thing?
How can one check what the problem was?
(It hasn't occured since then, though the computer was restarted two times.)
Kernel: 2.6.26-2-68, it was updated about one week ago, without changing any version number; but didn't cause any problem... several rebooting and so on.
Any ideas?

There is no hard and fast answer.

Obviously something changed in the kernel if it was updated. If does not reoccur, I would not worry about it. Have you added hardware or installed new drivers in the kernel? If so, those may be your problem.

Well it seems it's okay, no such message since then.
Haven't added new hardware or driver recently... it was more than half a year ago when I made such changes.
So it's obviously this latest kernel, but everything works perfectly now - as always before.
I was just curious about where/how could I check a log or something that tells what caused the failure.
Lenny rocks anyways!
