unplug the protection
plug in the cable on the san/lan switch, how doesn't matter
if the cable doesn't fit, you need an SFP, a short adapter for the switch
go to the machine end, concentrate and look at the front of the fibre cable, you'll now see a red light in one connector (port must be enabled on the switch)
look at the hba on the p570, you'll see a red light too
plug the and of the cable with no light in the port with the light, and vice versa
cg! you have connected your first fiber cable

Just pull out the wrap plug and plug in the fibre.
Look at another adapter with a fibre in it if you are unsure what it should look like.
I'm sure it depends on the distributor, but in our case some cables of the same delivery are alway assembled different, so just plugging them in will not work
