Error Problem on drws--S---
Hi there, Smilie

Current info
drws--S--- 2 nobody nobody 64 Oct 24 15:37 test1

Possible to change this to below
drwsrws--- 2 nobody nobody 64 Oct 24 15:37 test1

But if i using the below command, i hit an errors as below.Smilie

<CXXXXXX:/aaa/log/currmonth>chmod 6770 test1
chmod: tes1: The file system has read permission only.

I am using "root", "nobody" - cannot change also.

Is there any other ways. Please help. Thank you

Try "mount", it looks like your file system is mounted readonly.

This can also be a NFS mount

The reson I think so is that the fles you are listing are owned by nobody nobody Clear sign of this ( files owned by user not on this system)

use the df command to check if this is mounted fron some where else

If the uid and gid truely are not on the system (/etc/passwd, /etc/group) then they appear as numeric.

user login problem & Files listing problem.

1) when user login to the server the session got colosed. How will resolve? 2) While firing the command ls -l we are not able to see the any files in the director. but over all view the file system using the command df -g it is showing 91% used. what will be the problem?
