AIX

Hi everybody
I am new to the aix system and know I want to download some packages , so i start search for the aix repository like apt-get on Ubuntu , I found the results tell me to install rpm.rte and aix toolbox through navigator , but i have the following problem
1- i don't know hoe to open the Netscape , i search for an icon or try to download it through ftp i did not find any thing.
2- so i move to rpm.rte to install rpm package manager and start to install it with the command installp -gcXd rpm.rte rpm.rte but the result is that it is not found that package
3- i try to install them through ftp and get ftp links and write it on the terminal without any commands preceding it , but it also tell me that this package pr directory not found .

what is the solutions .please

I'd recommend mozilla - and a whole bunch of associated libraries...

I've installed it in the past but found there is a lot of leg work to get it to work and function like a browser would normally, straight out of the box.

I hope someone can point you strait to a decent how-to, I avoid having to do this because what seem like such a simple task is so painful on AIX.

If you could post back how it works out for you and a step by step process I'm sure a lot of people would thank you, as would I.
