We use scp (some times sftp and rsync also) for transferring big files (around 2GB each ) from 1 Network to another Network.
The Issues which we face :-

I have a very huge file, around 1GB of data.
I want to remove the newline characters in the file but not preceded by the original end delimiter {}
sample data will look like this
1234567
abcd{}
1234sssss
as67

I have multiple xml files and named
1233__AAA__12.xml
1234__AAA__12.xml
2125__AAA__13.xml
2127__AAA__13.xml
and I want to delete or to remove only these with the hightest ID e.g. files 1234__AAA__12.xml and 2127__AAA__13.xml.

How do i remove all the files that are present in the directory.. I know a way of doing this..that is by using *.* .. But my directory has executables or some files without extensions... So they are not getting deleted. What do i do to remove all of them?
