Hi Vikas,
You may want to try the file or fuser commands to see if you can identify the application generating the files. If you can not, you are probably safe deleting the files every so often. You can use the find command to identify and delete files after a certain amount of time. Hope this helps.

Hi all. I am seeing in one of our less-used servers that it crashed and now won't restart. I get the message 'continue with normal startup or boot into maintenance mode'.
