Hi Pascalbout,
try looking in /var/adm/ras for your log file.
The message indicates that the boot size is larger than what may boot from tape.
You could reduce the boot image size by removing unnecessary device files.
However if you need to boot from tape, and your system hangs because of this boot image size then just use an install CD to get the system booted. Then restore the
tape as usual.

I have inherited some standalone systems where they are using the mksysb command to create a disk file image; this image is then backed up to Networker.
