I am a car guy, and into racing. Years ago I bought a 1998 Camaro Z28 that had a somewhat special option called "1LE". I registered on a several Internet message boards with this name, and even though I sold the car 3 years ago, I still use this screen name.

whats this NAME=${0##*/}

hi all, i found NAME=${0##*/} in a script. i given this coomand in my unix box(presently in ksh). echo ${0##*/} it returned ksh. the purpose of the above is to return the shell name or more than that. do you have any more information like this, please share with me. one more query... (7 Replies)

pyracerz -- 2d racing car game SYNOPSIS
pyracerz [--resolution 640x480|320x240] [--fullscreen] [--doublebuf|--nodoublebuf] [--nosound] [--help|-h] [--version] DESCRIPTION
pyracerz is a multiplayer top view 2D racing game. It features multiplayer (on the same computer), tournaments, high scores, replays, 6 tracks (really 12, because each track can be used Nor- mal or Reverse), 9 cars, a basic robot player, 3 different levels of difficulty, and a music player (it can play the .ogg files locating in the musics directory). OPTIONS
These programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is included below. --resolution Change resolution (default is 1024x768) --fullscreen Enable fullscreen display --doublebuf Enable double buffering display (DEFAULT on other platform than Windows) --nodoublebuf Disable double buffering display (DEFAULT on Windows) --nosound Disable Sound -h --help Show summary of options. --version Output version information and exit.
