issue with smartmontools
Hi,
I need help!! I am trying to monitoring the temperature and error rate for diffrent storage systems - hard disk, SCSI, RAIDs.
For, Hard disk, smartctl works perfectly, but in case of SCSI and RAIDs, it fails.
smartctl notify only about the storage systems, health (i.e., OK,etc) but not other properties status.
Please, let me know if there is any way to monitor the disk systems for following disk controllers:
SCSI storage controller -
1. Adaptec AIC-7892A U160/m (rev 2);
2. LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 53c1030 PCI-X Fusion-MPT Dual Ultra320 SCSI (rev 7)
RAID bus controller -
1. American Megatrends Inc. MegaRAID (rev 2);
2. 3ware Inc 3ware 7000-series ATA-RAID (rev 1).
Thanks,
Priyanka

In LINUX(CentOS, RedHat) is there a way to have the banner statement appear before the logon instead of after the logon? In UNIX and Windows the banner appears before a person actually logs on, what I'm seeing in LINUX is that it appears after the login(ftp, telnet, SSH).
