have a look @ your /etc/default/kbd
this break frequence belongs to your terminal program.

small story:
i was sitting in front of 3 new suns prepairing them for our costumers, after a small ciggy break the windows screensaver was on, and when i returned to my desktop all three mashines got a break sequence threw my terminalprogram. hard to believe but i tried it again, and yes, it was the windows-screensaver compination.....

connecting 280r via serial port

I'm stuck here trying to connect to a 280R via serial port A to a laptop. I set hyperterminal up for 9600, 8, N, 1, but when I hit enter, nothing comes up in hyperterminal. There is no keyboard or mouse attached to the 280R, and it doesnt have a video card, so thats not an option. I'm stumped.... (4 Replies)

Console Setup for RS-232 port on 9131-52A

Hi, I have tried to setup the console on a Power5 9131-52A type IBM Server. On the back there are 2 RS-232 ports labeled T1 T2. The DMX extension provides support for communication with and control of Xdmx(1) server. Attributes of the Xdmx(1) server and of the back- end screens attached to the server can be queried and modified via this protocol. SUMMARY OF LIBRARY FUNCTIONS
