Oy! Get away from my window!
Well, I thought it might be a loose connection, but a couple of screws on the bottom are "threaded" by the previous owner, so I can't get inside to take a look.
I don't think this is the case, however, as it will work for a couple of seconds after starting X - but as soon as you "leave the touchpad alone" for a few seconds - it refuses to work anymore.
It is stupid because it worked for months previously. Aaaaaaaarghhhhh!!
I think I'm just gonna have to get use to using the USB mouse.

I got a strange issue here: We are using ISC DHCP v4 which is default in Open SuSE 11.4. These two options 'default-lease-time' and 'max-lease-time' are set in all subnets, with values between 43200 (12 hours) to 518400 (144 hours). See partial dhcpd.conf below please.

My touchpad is not using my /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-synaptics.conf.
I used this to verify my file is being read.

I'm using Mint 18.3 Sylvia in my Acer Aspire F 15 F5-573G-77ZP.
I have problem in using touchpad, this is when I enable touchpad in Mouse and Touchpad options, I can't move the cursor of touchpad. I mean wherever I touch on the touchpad, it acts as a left click. No moving.... (1 Reply)

SYNOPSIS
fence_tool [COMMAND] [OPTIONS]
DESCRIPTION
This utility controls and queries the fenced(8) daemon with the following commands:
join join the fence domain.
leave leave the fence domain.
dump print the fenced internal debug buffer ont stdout.
ls display internal fenced state.
The leave command will not be sent to fenced if fence_tool detects that any instances of gfs or dlm are in use.
OPTIONS
-n Show all node information in ls.
-t seconds
Retry cman connection for this many seconds. 0 none, -1 indefinite. Default 0.
-q seconds
Delay join up to this many seconds for the cluster to have quorum. 0 none, -1 indefinite. Default 0.
-m seconds
Delay join up to this many seconds for all nodes in cluster.conf to be cluster members. 0 none, -1 indefinite. Default 0.
-w seconds
Wait up to this many seconds for the result of join or leave. 0 none, -1 indefinite. Default 0.
-h Print a help message describing available options, then exit.
-V Print program version information, then exit.
