monitor hertz
I just got done installing freeBSD. I'm running the KDE desktop and my frequency is too low on my monitor. How do you change this? Very new to UNIX!

I am trying to monitor a log file and kick of a script when a change occurs. I know I could do this with a cron job and check for differences at set intervals, but I need the script to be dynamic and notify me as soon as there is a change in the log file. matchbox-panel [options]
DESCRIPTION
matchbox-panel is a desktop panel, which can hold small `applets' such as a clock, system monitor and wireless monitor.
Matchbox is a base environment for the X Window System running on non-desktop embedded platforms such as handhelds, set-top boxes, kiosks
and anything else for which screen space, input mechanisms or system resources are limited.
