I have a HP-UX 11.11 server right now we are using putty for login by SSH now we want to the upgrade the Oracle of this server for that we need the connectivity through (Exceed or X-Manager) for GUI.
Somebody please help me how can we connect this server by Exceed or X-Manager

I have created a web page on a server using apache and added .htaccess and .htpasswd in the folder for authentification.
I was wondering if there was anyway to tie-in the login for this page with the login used to logon to the server.

we have an problem on kubuntu16.04 that when i login with ldap, and it is my first login, nothing is copied from skel. With SSH it is working fine. Can anyone say we how KDE setup an new first userlogin? Tested with SDDM and Lightdm. Thanks a lot!

gnome-about - display GNOME introductory information
SYNOPSIS
gnome-about [--gnome-version] [gnome-std-options]
DESCRIPTION
The GNOME introductory dialog displays a list of the GNOME contributors, and provides links to some useful GNOME websites.
OPTIONS
The following options are supported:
--gnome-version Display information on this GNOME version.
gnome-std-options Standard options available for use with most GNOME applications. See gnome-std-options(5).
EXAMPLES
Example 1: Displaying the GNOME introductory information
example% gnome-about
EXIT STATUS
The following exit values are returned:
0 Application exited successfully
>0 Application exited with failure
