look for this module for your apache. on my sun it is called libphp4.so
(mod_php - PHP extension to apache)
then you have to edit your httpd.conf
LoadModule php4_module /<path>/libphp4.so
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source. phps
now your apache can speak php.....
to configure your mysql db you could use phpMyAdmin...
how to use php vs. sql belongs to your application... what do you want to do??
