i need to download the driver for the graphic card PGX32 for solaris 7. Where can i find it? I looked in the sun website but
i didn't find it (maybe i haven't searched well !!)

Can anyone tell me how to mount the USB driver in solaris 8?
I try many time that can't to mount USB driver. It can detect the USB driver by typing #iostat -En but can't mount the driver. (1 Reply)

Hi,
I have a Solaris 9 box that is connected to an Intermec EasyCoder 3400e tag printer. We set up the printer in solaris 9 using Jet Direct Admin console to use dump blotter address and the whole thing works fine. I'm trying to install Solaris on my laptop for training purposes. It recognizes all the hardware except for the Intel Mobile 4 Series (GMA 4500m) video controller. Wikipedia says that Solaris 11 does support Mobile 4 Series controllers but for some reason it doesn't have the driver for it out... (0 Replies)

install-solaris - install the Solaris operating system SYNOPSIS
install-solaris install-solaris invokes the Solaris Install program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation, install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer. The following minimum requirements for physical memory dictate which features are available during installation: For SPARC machines: 128 MB Minimum physical memory for all installation types 128 MB Minimum physical memory required for windowing system 384 MB Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation For x86 machines: 256 MB Minimum physical memory for all installation types 256 MB Minimum physical memory required for windowing system 512 MB Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation In some cases, even if the minimum physical memory is present, available virtual memory after system startup can limit the number of fea- tures available. install-solaris exists only on the Solaris installation media (CD or DVD) and should be invoked only from there.
