Top Forums UNIX for Advanced & Expert Users possibility to call subprocesses from ksh ?? Post 32951 by TheBlueLady on Wednesday 11th of December 2002 10:35:11 AM

What I meant to say was using the nohup to call a script in another script.

So something like:

nohup ./dump.sh databasename &

And then that line in another script.
Is that possible ?
Or do I need to call the mainscript with nohup and just put the line:

./dump.sh databasename

in the script?

I hope you understand what I mean.
