Hello Robin ,

Thanks for sharing the idea. I had this Idea and using it , but what I am not sure is

1. consider I have a logging script as you mentioned , which will have logic to post to a log file .
2. Now , how will I call that script ? I will source it thought . Lets look this example -

echo -n -e  "OS Architecture : "$(arch | grep x86_64 &> /dev/null)| tee -a "$FinalLogName"  && echo -e  " 64 Bit OS\n" | tee -a "$FinalLogName" || echo -e  " 32 Bit OS" | tee -a "$FinalLogName"

In this if you see , I am posting to console as well as with tee , sending to a logfile as well . How can i convert this , can u help me ?

tee [-ai] [file...] DESCRIPTION
The tee utility will copy standard input to standard output, making a copy in zero or more files. tee will not buffer its output. The options determine if the specified files are overwritten or appended to. OPTIONS
The following options are supported. -a Appends the output to the files rather than overwriting them. -i Ignores interrupts. OPERANDS
