Hello attempting to redirect out to create a startup script in solaris. The steps are working but the $1 entry is being left out. syntax below and content of output file below.

sed 's|^xyz.abc *= *.*|xyz.abc=60|' /test/myFile.properties > /test/myFile.properties1
myFile.properties has the last line as xyz.abc=23 does not end with newline.
When I run this command the last line is truncated if there is no newline character at EOF. Looking for an alternative here. (1 Reply)

I have a script:

which gives me the output as:

Below script perfectly works, giving below mail output. BUT, I want to make the script mail only if there are any D-Defined/T-Transition/B-Broken State WPARs and also to copy the output generated during monitoring to a temporary log file, which gets cleaned up every week. Need suggestions.

Output should be processed as line but instead it throw whole output.

roar_vs_iterate() sends a block of data from the local buffer to the server or reads data from the server into the local buffer in blocking mode, or pushes or pulls data to or from server in file mode. roar_vs_run() does the same as roar_vs_iterate() but loops until EOF or error. PARAMETERS
vss The VS object to be used. wait If ROAR_VS_WAIT roar_vs_iterate() will block until data has been synced with the server. If ROAR_VS_NOWAIT roar_vs_iterate() will not block if no data can be send to or read from the server. error This is a pointer to a integer used to store the error value in case of error.
