The Lounge What is on Your Mind? Prototyping New Responsive Mobile for UNIX.COM - Phase II Post 303007428 by Neo on Thursday 16th of November 2017 11:23:07 AM

Just checked Google Webmaster Tools for our HTTPS site. Contrary to posts on the net, Google seems to be treating the links to the HTTP site as links to the HTTPS site, so after indexing the new site, seems we are not losing credits for years of sites and posts linking to us.

Also, checked the "Mobile Friendly" feature in Google, and the new mobile site prototype is doing very well; and almost all the forum pages now showing us "Mobile Friendly".

There are a few errors here and there, but not many, which is a remarkable improvement over Taptalk and the old mobile mobile site.

Things are looking up, and Google Search referrals are also on the increase after dropping.
