gnome-phone-manager - Manage your mobile phone
USAGE
gnome-phone-manager [--identify <baddr>] [--config] [-d|--debug]] [--display=DISPLAY]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the gnome-phone-manager command.
gnome-phone-manager is a program created to allow you to control aspects of your mobile phone from your GNOME 2 desktop.
Current features include:
- Runs in the background; indicates status on the panel notification area,
- Display on-screen alert when text message (SMS) arrives,
- Text message (SMS) sending facility,
- Evolution Addressbook integration.
OPTIONS

Application Options:
--identify <bdaddr>
Show model name of the device with Bluetooth address bdaddr.
--config
Write the configuration file for gnokii debugging
-d, --debug
Enable debug

SYNOPSIS
gnome-power-manager [ --verbose ] [ --debug ] [ --help ]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the gnome-power-manager command.
gnome-power-manager is the backend program of the GNOME power management infrastructure providing a complete and integrated solution to
power management under the GNOME desktop environment.
It supports features such as suspending, hibernating, screen blanking, cpu frequency switching and more in one small neat package.
OPTIONS
This program follows the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is included
below.
--help
Show summary of options.
--verbose
Show extra debugging.
--no-daemon
Do not detach gnome-power-manager into the background so that error messages will be displayed on console.
--debug
Only show specific debugging options. Useful for developers only.

Hi all,
We use this linux machine for SMS alerting .Here is the whole set up:
The linux machine keeps pinging our main server and when it does not get a response it runs 'smssend' command to send the sms through 'genie' website to
send sms to a couple of GSM numbers .
