I've just completed a fresh install of HP-UX 11.0 on my 712/80 and everything starts up fine until it gets to the point where X kicks off and I believe at this point is supposed to launch into the CDE login.

I've installed AIX 5.1 on a 43p-140, but am unable to log in. At no point in the install did it ask me for a root password. When it boots to the console prompt, I enter "root" as a username, and then after 1 second it cycles right back to another root prompt.

Hello,
For whatever reason, after installing Solaris 10 I can ping anything within my own LAN, including the router which is also set as the default gateway, but I have no internet connectivity with it. At first I thought this was a DNS issue, but I can't connect with external IP addresses... (3 Replies)

Cursor is blinking (slightly) while loading page in Firefox, or during scrolling a window.
I tried some variants of linux (gnome permanently) and of course my solaris.
May be an artifact of X-window? Cause in windows cursor is stable (i'm feeling more confident).

update-flashplugin-nonfree - program to get the newest Adobe Flash Player
SYNOPSIS
update-flashplugin-nonfree --install
update-flashplugin-nonfree --uninstall
DESCRIPTION
The program update-flashplugin-nonfree takes care of downloading last minute information from Debian about suitable versions, removing the
installed Adobe Flash Plugin if it has been reported as insecure, or, if a newer suitable version is available, downloading a newer Adobe
Flash Player and its installer from the Adobe download site, run the downloaded installer to install the Adobe Flash Player on the local
system, and then move the installed files to where they fit on a Debian system.
A copy of the downloaded .tar.gz is saved in /var/cache/flashplugin-nonfree for later reuse.
The program update-flashplugin-nonfree is used in the postinst and prerm scripts of the Debian package, but this program can also be run
manually by root.
OPTIONS
--install
To install, update or remove the Adobe Flash Player depending on downloaded last minute information from Debian about suitable ver-
sions.
--uninstall
To remove the Adobe Flash Player.
--verbose
Produce detailed information about what's happening.
--quiet
Produce no informational output.
