Disable minecraft by disabling java
my kids are on minecraft constantly. I want to restrict its use but it seems impossible since it runs on java. 
They are using
windows 7 but I'm asking this question on here since Java is platform independent (er right?)
Also this forum was very helpful with my AWK question a few years ago.
Anyway my thinking was I could use scheduler to disable Java at certain times to restrict their minecraft use. The problem is I dont know how I would go about automating disabling and re-enabling Java. would simply renaming some important files work? if so, which ones? or is it even possible?

I'm looking in /etc/logrotate.conf and I checked the man page but didn't see any option to disable. Is it as simple as commenting out monthly and rotate lines?
