I think somehow rhel is not able to contact acer when name resolution is required.
Some how rhel is not able to findout which is the name server ?
Do you have any clue what can be the reason ?

I recently installed Solaris 10 on my Sun workstation. I cannot ping using hostname from another computer on the same network.
But I can ping using the IP address. Also I can ping other systems using their hostnames.

RETURN VALUE
Returns an xcb_randr_get_crtc_gamma_cookie_t. Errors have to be handled when calling the reply function xcb_randr_get_crtc_gamma_reply.
If you want to handle errors in the event loop instead, use xcb_randr_get_crtc_gamma_unchecked. See xcb-requests(3) for details.
ERRORS
