- What format timestamp do you want?
- What timezone do you want to use (local time or coordinated universal time [AKA GMT])?
- What operating system are you using?
- Do you want to use a shell script to convert the number of seconds since the Epoch to the timestamp you want or do you want to use a C program?
- If you want to use a shell script, what shell are you using? If it is a Korn shell, is it a 1988 version of the Korn shell or a 1993 version of the Korn shell?
