How can i print the output of a perl script on a unix console and redirect the same in a log file under same directory simultaneously ?

I wrote a script to pick files based on some logic. when I execute my script, I get the below message ( I bolded the lines in the script where this error message shows up), it says that files are not available and it is a valid scenario if the files are not available and I don't know how...
