So this finally happened again today, but I was using a different USB hub then I was previously. The only reason I'm using a different hub is because the other hub has this little piece of plastic on the top-side of the USB plug which prevented me from plugging it in without needing to remove what was already in a USB port right above that one. At the moment I couldn't remove what was already connected to the USB port so I had used this different one...
This other USB hub I used comes with a power adapter for itself so I had that plugged into AC power as well. When I first connected this hub the light on it came on but the KB and mouse weren't working so I had to connect the power supply to it to get it working... Guess the USB port wasn't giving this hub enough power to also power the devices connected to it...?
As soon as it started happening I touched the USB hub... And boy was it HOTT. I forgot to check the power supply to the CuBox itself but checking now a little while after it started, it does feel pretty warm.
But anyway, just wanted to mention that...
Thanks,
Matt
