Are you in a position to modify the remote .bashrc or .profile? There you could check for the -i (interactive) option flag and, if missing, skip the menu.

When I start my laptop, I need to run one command /etc/init.open-afs start
and it require sudo privilege.

DESCRIPTION
pos_menu_cursor() moves the cursor in the window of menu to the correct position to resume menu processing. This is needed after the appli-
cation calls a curses library I/O routine.

E_SYSTEM_ERROR System error.
E_BAD_ARGUMENT An incorrect argument was passed to the routine.
