I desperately need help to get my sendmail configuration working again.
I followed this guide: Unmemorable Memories » Blog Archive » Enabling SMTP-AUTH for Sendmail on Debian Linux 3.1
to enable TLS and AUTH in sendmail and now I get an error I just cannot find any information about on the great wise internet.
I can find no reference anywhere on how to solve it and when I check my Makefile it seems to me (I'm have very little knowledge about Makefiles) that everything should be OK in it.
Please please help me!

We are running HP-UX 11v1 and are about to upgrade sendmail to 8.13.3 to allow support for TLS. Enabling TLS seems pretty straightforward, but I'm wondering if an SSL certificate is required for this. Our MS Exchange server does use a certificate. Do I need to arrange for a public certificate to... (3 Replies)

MSG2SMTP(1) General Commands Manual MSG2SMTP(1)NAME
msg2smtp - a 'bridge' between MUA and GNU Anubis
SYNOPSIS
msg2smtp -h HOST [-p PORT] [-e HELO_DOMAIN] [-U USERNAME] [-P PASSWORD] [-m MECHANISM] [-d]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the msg2smtp command.
msg2smtp is a program that takes a mail message on STDIN and relays it to an SMTP server.
MUA (Mutt) --> msg2smtp.pl --> Anubis --> remote or local MTA
This can be used whenever you want to convert a mail message on STDIN and talk to an SMTP server as output. Just like sendmail do.
If you want to use this script with Mutt, add this to Mutt configuration file:
set sendmail="/PATHTO/msg2smtp.pl -h localhost"
If you run GNU Anubis on port 4000, you would put this line in your muttrc:
set sendmail="/PATHTO/msg2smtp.pl -h localhost -p 4000"
OPTIONS
A summary of options is included below:
-h HOST
hostname of SMTP server, often 'localhost',
-p PORT
port of the SMTP server,
-e HELO_DOMAIN
domain we use when to say helo to smtp server,
-U USERNAME

-P PASSWORD

-m MECHANISM
