It works when the amplifier is turned on, but doesn't return anything when it's in standby mode for some reason (is supposed to return PWR1)

Code:
#AMPLIFER TURNED OFF
Hanss-MacBook:Scripts hansi$ ./telnetPower.sh
Connection closed by foreign host.
got reply =
Hanss-MacBook:Scripts hansi$

Code:
#AMPLIFIER TURNED ON
Hanss-MacBook:Scripts hansi$ ./telnetPower.sh
Connection closed by foreign host.
got reply = PWR0
Hanss-MacBook:Scripts hansi$ ./telnetPower.sh

the weird thing is that if I log in manually in telnet and write ?P, it returns PWR1 when it's in standby mode.
Why don't you command work in standby?

EDIT:
Sorry for all the editing, but I got it working! I had to use 'sleep 1' instead of 'sleep 2' by some kind of reason. Thank you for all your help! I think I'll manage to do the rest of the work myself! Smilie
