Hi, its giving me nothing. If I run just prtdiag -v it just listing DIMM slots, 0 On-Board devices and 3 upgradable slots with status available, Type - Unknown and Description - PCI-E Slot 1, PCI-E Slot 2, PCI-E Slot 3.

there wasn't installed netwrok drivers. Just installed drivers. Problem solved.

I got second IOU in my M5000 but not able bring internal network interfcae .. ike i don't get link on those 2 interfaces .. and the same network cable plugged in PCI network card it works like a charm Is there any special way to enable the internal IOU interfaces or i have bad nics ? (8 Replies)

Hello i am configuring a debian lenny sever ,/etc/network/interfaces is modified so that eth1 takes a static IP address then i save it wq! then i restart the networking , /etc/init.d/networking restart . but after reboot ,the file is reset ,note that the interfaces had by defauklt IPv6 address... All, I have a quad NIC on a V880 running Solaris 9. I've heard you can bond interfaces together and get better throughput. I found this link that seems to describe the process well. NAME

       systemd-networkd-wait-online.service, systemd-networkd-wait-online - Wait for network to come online

SYNOPSIS

       systemd-networkd-wait-online.service

       /lib/systemd/systemd-networkd-wait-online

DESCRIPTION

       systemd-networkd-wait-online is a one-shot system service that waits for the network to be configured. By default, it will wait for all
       links it is aware of and which are managed by systemd-networkd.service(8) to be fully configured or failed, and for at least one link to
       gain a carrier.

OPTIONS

       The following options are understood:

       -i, --interface=
           Network interface to wait for before deciding if the system is online. This is useful when a system has several interfaces which will
           be configured, but a particular one is necessary to access some network resources. This option may be used more than once to wait for
           multiple network interfaces. When used, all other interfaces are ignored.

       --ignore=
           Network interfaces to be ignored when deciding if the system is online. By default, only the loopback interface is ignored. This option
           may be used more than once to ignore multiple network interfaces.

       --timeout=
           Fail the service if the network is not online by the time the timeout elapses. A timeout of 0 disables the timeout. Defaults to 120
           seconds.
