Once you add the disk via vmware workstation then you'll need to manipulate it using diskadd or fdisk. I suggest bringing down the VM (unixware, add, then boot).

Root File System Full

Hi All, The root file system of the HP-UX serevr I use is showing as 100% full. It has a disk space of ~524MB. When I add up the sizes of all the files and directories (using du -sk) , except mount points, it came up to 237MB. But when I bdf it still shows 100% full Can anyone help... (3 Replies)

Hi, I upgraded the physical memory on my RHEL5 server (BL460cG7) from 32G to 128G. When I rebooted the box I can see from the "hpasmcli" that the 128G memory has installed correctly. vmware_selinux - Security Enhanced Linux Policy for the vmware processes DESCRIPTION
Security-Enhanced Linux secures the vmware processes via flexible mandatory access control. The vmware processes execute with the vmware_t SELinux type. You can check if you have these processes running by executing the ps command with the -Z qualifier. For example: ps -eZ | grep vmware_t ENTRYPOINTS
The vmware_t SELinux type can be entered via the vmware_exec_t file type.
