You are on the right track but your MAC based terminal emulator is not seeing the USB to serial adapter so isn't offering you that serial connection option. (The two bluetooth options are coming from the inbuilt MAC bluetooth adapter I guess.)

I'm not a MAC expert. We need DukeNuke2 to contribute here because he said that he uses MAC terminal emulation all the time.

However, things are going in the right direction.

DukeNuke2 will see this and the previous posts so hopefully will respond.
Let's wait and see.

ALOM wont work when KVM connected to Sun Fire V440 server

Hi, I was asked to connect a KVM screen to a Sun Fire V440 last night so I connected it up but no joy and nothing on the KVM screen. Sun Fire V210 CPU Fan Temp too high?

Hey, I have a V210 with a failed CPU fan. The temperature is currently at 84C and I've been asked to wait a few weeks before replacing as its a production system and it cant be shut down yet. The Sun Fire 880 Dynamic Reconfiguration daemon, sf880drd, is part of the PCI and system bus hotplug framework. sf880drd starts at boot time.
