Launching Nautilus with a set of files ??
Hello ,
I am trying to create a layer of file-tagging trough bash scripting and tlc/tk .
I have almost everything ready only needs to be able to launch nautilus (the gnome file manager) with a regular expresion; when searching information in internet with "script and nautilus", i only find how to add scripting to contextual menu in nautilus; but im really searching howto launch nautilus through a shell script and a
REGULAR EXPRESION in this way :
> nautilus /home/me/ *.zip
or
> nautilus /home/me P?*rar
etc .....
It is impossible that it is not possible, but it seemed ......

Hi, I am a torrent-maniak and I use Transmission.
All things were good but Nautilus begun to show problem while I was runnning Transmission.Its situation was becoming worse and worse.

nautilus-file-management-properties - File Management Preferences
SYNOPSIS
nautilus-file-management-properties [options]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the nautilus-file-management-properties command.
File Management Preferences allows an user to configure the way nautilus looks.
You can specify a default view, and select sort options and display options. You can also specify default settings for icon views and list
views.
OPTIONS
Nautilus follows the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is included
below.
--help Show a summary of options.
--version
Show version.
Other standard GNOME options not listed here are also supported.
