Without more information about your setup and kernels, it is impossible to give you any valid advise.

Typically RHEL will keep the current plus last two kernels under /boot. Add a new GRUB entry pointing to one of your older kernels, reboot and see what happens.

Good day. I have a machine with 5.3 installed but I do not have the cds. I have the 5.2 cds and when i boot in maintenance mode I cannot mount my root volume group.
