Cron won't restart rsyslog

So now this is evident!
The script fails when u try to use sudo and executes the next set of commands. From your above script, successful commands are only copying and moving. You have to re-construct your sscript

hi all,
How do cron restart on unix Tru64?
because don't run my cron jobs. few days age it's running fine.
I did below steps:
1. cd /usr/sbin
2. cron stop
response: "! Cron is already running. Exiting... Tue Nov 27 14:38:00 2007"
3. cron start

NOOB here. I attempted to use smit mkcd. Failed on first attempt, not enough space. 2nd attempt tried to place iso on /usr, not enough space there. Cleanup ran for about 5 minutes after aborting. syslog-ng, syslogd DESCRIPTION
There are different syslog daemon implementations supported as the system's syslog service, currently syslogd, syslog-ng and rsyslogd The first installed daemon activates itself for the syslog service. Starting with openSUSE-11.2, it is rsyslogd, before it was syslog-ng. But this depends on the software selection during the installation. The name of the daemon used as syslog service is specified in the SYSLOG_DAEMON variable in /etc/sysconfig/syslog. The yast2 sysconfig module provides a comfortable way to switch to another installed daemon and restart the service. The /etc/init.d/syslog init script is able to handle all supported daemons. BUGS
