Well, RHEL 6 has vsftpd as the FTP server and telnet-server package for the telnet server. To install these pacakges, you would have to make use of the installation DVD as yum repository. Let me help you with that:
1. Create a file /etc/yum.repos.d/local.repo with the following contents:

[LocalRepo] name=DVD Repo baseurl=file:///mnt/dvd enabled=1 gpgcheck=0

mount -t iso9660 -o ro /dev/sr0 /mnt/dvd

yum install vsftpd telnet-server xinetd -y

1) Maximum FTP sessions are allowed
2) Maximum Telnet sessions are allowed

I'm using the following script to automated ftp files to 1 ftp servers
host=192.168.0.1
/usr/bin/ftp -vi >> $bkplog 2>&1 <<ftp
open $host
bin
cd ${directory}
put $files
quit
ftp
and the .netrc file contain
machine 192.168.0.1

Ok, Im trying to get NFS working on my RHEL 5 box, apparently i can use the box as a client, but not as a server. If it helps i cant ssh into the box (server), but as a client ssh works fine. Ive configured

debuginfo-install - install debuginfo packages and their dependencies SYNOPSIS
debuginfo-install package DESCRIPTION
debuginfo-install is a program which installs the RPMs needed to debug the specified package. The package argument can be a wildcard, but will only match installed packages. debuginfo-install will then enable any debuginfo repositories, and install the relevant debuginfo rpm. EXAMPLES

Could not find debuginfo for: You may sometimes see warning messages about certain packages not being found if you run debuginfo-install for a wildcard or glob. Debuginfo packages are not necessary for "noarch" RPMs; these will generate a warning message. Additionally, On 64-bit systems, no multilib debuginfo packages are published, so if you have 32-bit packages installed, these will also generate warning messages. FILES
