I have a text file like:

I need a way to say if the 3rd field has data in it, move the contents of the entire line to a new file.
Any ideas?

I need to get fields in a line that are separated by commas, some of the fields are enclosed with double quotes, and they are supposed to be treated as a single field even if there are commas inside the quotes.

I am trying to output a tab-delimited result that uses the data from a tab-delimited file to combine and subtract specific lines.

DESCRIPTION pg_field_size(3) returns the internal storage size (in bytes) of the field number in the given PostgreSQL $result.
Note
This function used to be called pg_fieldsize(3).
PARAMETERS
o $result
- PostgreSQL query result resource, returned by pg_query(3), pg_query_params(3) or pg_execute(3) (among others).
o $field_number
- Field number, starting from 0.
RETURN VALUES
The internal field storage size (in bytes). -1 indicates a variable length field. FALSE is returned on error.
