Help with killing / running ( minecraft )
alright, i have been trying to kill a process for some time now and im having a hard time to close it. im not sure if anyone on here is familiar with Minecraft, but im running a server from LimestoneNetworks, i had one of my friends set it up since im not as good as he is with linux, he tryed explaining it yesturday on how to start it, i have that, but since i know the server is still running, but it wont let anyone connect cause it crashed i wanna know how to stop this problem. ( stop the nohup ).

Sorry for all the threads. I am almost done. I ahve a bash script that is launching a diags program then copying the .html over my client. then it does the following line
/opt/firefox/firefox report.html

I had issues with processes locking up. This script checks for processes and kills them if they are older than a certain time.

then based on pid , i need to kill that process.

target affect agent or server daemon

HISTORY
This program was first introduced in Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard". It was inspired by xgridctl(8).
BUGS
pcastctl(8) uses kill -TERM to allow the daemons a chance to die gracefully; there is currently no way to force a kill -KILL.
