Operating Systems Linux Red Hat How to install centos 5.5 using Raid In Virtualbox Post 302665919 by spynappels on Tuesday 3rd of July 2012 10:53:11 AM

Did you look at the first result from the second link? That is the documentation which tells you exactly how to install on RAID. The exact RAID levels available depend on whether they are supported, I'm not sure what is available on CentOS 5.5 but RAID 0, 1 and 5 are definitelypossible. /boot partitions need to be on a RAID1 array though.

LVM on a RAID array is also possible, but again, there is a lot of documentation out there that explains how to do that.
