Sorry, can't find the file you mentioned. Error message like below:
>ls -lt /etc/sysconfig/keyboard
/bin/ls: cannot access /etc/sysconfig/keyboard: No such file or directory
/etc/sysconfig> find . -name keyboard -print
Nothing found
Regarding the keyboard type, I'm not very sure about what do you mean but see some info on the back of my keyboard: Dell T3A002

hi guys,
i was doing a fresh installation of vxvm 4.0 on solaris 8 Sun enterprise 3500 and when i ran vxinstall command it gave me option of appdg and appdg02 to be encapsulated . I wanted to encapsulate rootdg. i wrongly encapsulated appdg. is there any work around for this ?

I was trying to point /unix-> new unix kernel ( unix_64_A ).. but instead by mistakenly i did the other way ..my new unix ( unix_64_A -> /unix ) ?? ..

xkbctrl [ options ]
DESCRIPTION
xkbctrl is used to obtain the X11 keyboard configuration parameters according to a given console map name. The currently used console map
is stored in the KEYTABLE variable within the file: /etc/sysconfig/keyboard
COMMAND LINE OPTIONS
The one and only argument is the name of the console map but this argument is required. If the map does not exist an empty set of X11 vari-
ables is printed out.

The language dependent keyboard layout specification.
XkbModel
The hardware keyboard type specification.
Protocol
The protocol used for communication.
XkbRules
The XKB rules file.
