Disk Usage

du -k /path worked (du -hs /path did not)
Now the question is why 3 entries.
108 /some path
4 /some other path
82712 /Actual path
Actual path is the folder where i was looking for.

Sorry I got it by myself.
Those other entries are the directories under my path.

Im using solaris 8 on a Sunfire 280r. Is there a command to show you how much disk space is being used in gigabytes or megabytes. I dont think theres an option for this using the df command. not for solaris anyway.

symlink - symbolic link DESCRIPTION
A symbolic (or soft ) link is a file whose name indirectly refers (points) to a relative or absolute path name. During path name interpretation, a symbolic link to a relative path name is expanded to the path name being interpreted, and a symbolic link to an absolute path name is replaced with the path name being interpreted.
