I need to find the line count of multiple strings in a particular file. The strings are as follows:

I am doing manual grep for each of the string to find the line count. The command i am using right now is:

I'm looking for a wait to count the number of occurrences of a certain string of characters within a file. I want the output of the find command to be printed and also the total files found by it. Can someone help in this.
Obviously $ find . -type f | wc -l will not output the files found but only the count. I want both. There can be millions and trillions of files so dont want the output of find... (3 Replies)

I got a little problem, I made a few modifications to the code of the launch script of a testing server(minecraft) and now updating is broken aswell as the automatic directory creation.

The fssync-debug vgcquery command displays an entry from the volume group cache (VGC), and possibly starts a VGC scan if appropriate. OPTIONS
-partition <exact partition name> Specifies the exact partition name (e.g. /vicepa). Abbreviations are not permitted. -volumeid <volume ID> Specifies the numeric volume ID. Volume names are not permitted. -reason <sync protocol reason code> Specifies numeric sync protocol reason code. Available codes are listed in OpenAFS source file src/vol/fssync_inline.h. For SYNC_REASON_NONE, use -reason 0. -programtype <program type code> Specifies program type code.
