I change my client's IP and hostname but I forgot to change anything on the master. How can I redefine or modify my client's resource from my master, or with using smit niminit from my client ?
Tks
On the NIM server:
After changing the hostname and IP address in the hosts file on the NIM server change the machine name in top item and hit return.
Edit the niminfo file on the client in /etc.
More often than not this works but if it does not you will have to delete the original definition off the NIM server and recreate it.
again make sure the correct hostname and IP address is in the /etc/hosts file.

All leads to the answer would be much appreciated, many thanks!
