Hi,
We do only health check monitoring for this server, so can't tell whether any changes
have been made to this or not !!!
Pl let me know, if any possible work-around ?

I know that Sun make s a version of Solaris for Sparc platforms and also an x86 (Intel/AMD) release of Solaris. Can an application that runs on Solaris/Sparc also run on a PC running the x86 release of Solaris? Would a different release be required or any re-compling of the application?

hey. i have been installing the VNC server from the solaris Companion cd under solaris 8 SPARC,
when i try to open the vncserver i get: Xvnc is not in your PATH, how do i add it to the PATH ? and how do i install it if i need to do that,

I am trying to mount a SAN volume (which is mapped to solaris sparc) partitioned with ufs filesystem onto a linux (intel processor 64bit) server.
*I have re-compiled the linux kernel t support ufs fstype with ro mount support.

We set-up master/slave servers for NIS on Solaris10 Sparc. We are trying to synchronize them in such a way that if one server is down then other server would pick-up and also do load balancing. In my Solaris 10 - Netra CP3060, the following particular script is not running:
lrc:/etc/rc2_d/S00set-tmp-permissions
lrc:/etc/rc2_d/S07set-tmp-permissions

NAME
fl-monitor-ctl - monitors server health during funkload benchs
SYNOPSIS
fl-monitor-ctl [ options ] config_file [ start | startd | stop | restart | status | test ]
DESCRIPTION
fl-monitor-ctl monitors server health during a Funkload bench. It is implemented as an XML-RPC server.
A configuration file needs to be setup in order to use this server. Please refer to demo/simple/credential.conf for an example.

--version
Show program's version number and exit
--help, -h
Show a help message and exit
--quiet, -q
